Following is a brief description of various one-off tools I've written which may be of use to others.
- Program to read in a file of FASTA-formatted nucleotide sequences
and introduce various numbers of indel and
substitution errors for the purpose of simulating random sequencing errors.
- A tool to scrape out conserved nucleotide blocks in a
alignment according to CORE index / minimum block length thresholds.
